20th Birthday for simplybible.com
Late in 2001, I sat down at my computer, connected to the internet by dialup, and imagined a website.
A year later, simplybible.com went on line. By that time I'd learnt to code in HTML, Javascript, and css; and written 80 web pages. It was pretty basic, but so were most websites then.
As the years hurried by, I battled with the “cross platform” chaos and the conflicting rules. I've been challenged by the swift progress from clumsy devices to modern notebooks, tablets, and smart phones —all in just two decades.
Over time, simplybible.com was enhanced with the following "social media"...

Over the 20 years I have authored 1553 study pages on simplybible.com plus extensive indexes including those generated automatically on the spot for a user's specific request. There are more than 2000 visitors to the website every day.
So one continues to build this website with the help of Jesus and some of his good disciples. One hopes the work has blessed you, and will bless you, and many others.
While the Lord gives me strength and opportunity, I'll keep simplybible.com growing and try to keep up with the times and technology.

For the twelve months to the end of December 2022, the number of page views was 2.3 million. The highest month for the year 2022 was February 202,301. The lowest was December 174,690. There were 7 months under 200,000 and 5 months over. (Source Awstats).

Other Work Done
Besides the writing of new lessons, there were a number of minor edits required as there always are. I resumed posting on Twitter and Facebook @simplybible, and we shall see how that goes.
Other Matters
CHURCH. We continued to hold Sunday morning services in our home, with one Christian lady still meeting regularly with us using Facetime. She was able to join us in person on one Sunday. Another friend from Vanuatu, engaged in farm work in Australia, came to stay with us for a weekend and joined our service.
