New Pages on simplybible.com

In this 4th Quarter of 2023, I prepared 10 new study pages and added them to the website. This brings the number of study pages on the site to 1,587.

Signs of Interest

Again I received a few emails from people who came across the website, found it very helpful, and thanked me for it. This is a sign that the website keeps on being useful in God’s kingdom.

Other emails asked questions which I answered. (Two emails, however, provided me with articles that were longwinded, extremely complicated, all jammed into one huge paragraph, a jumble of assersions without structure or order. They seemed designed to waste my time and distract me from my work.)

Catching Bugs

I made a thorough check of the 94 control scripts to look for "bugs" in the operation of the navigation tabs at the top of each page. I found and fixed two scripts that were not quite right.

Church Meetings

We continued to hold Sunday morning services in our home, with one Christian lady still meeting regularly with us on line. On some occasions an elderly couple met with us, whom I mentioned in our previous report.

On one occasion a gentleman came, who has moved to a town about 40 minutes drive away.

Note that in the following table Pages means web pages opened and viewed by visitors. Visits means the number of visitors who opened those pages. Google means the approximate number of user actions (clicks, scrolls, etc) on our pages in the Google search engine. PDF means downloads of the PDF versions of the web pages.

For the twelve months to the end of December 2023, the number of page views was around 2 million.
