Your Body a Sacrifice  —About how faith in one’s heart should develop into a faith lived out in one’s flesh —something the apostle Paul was very concerned about.

The Sacrifice for Sins  —Our Magnificent High Priest provides us the way of forgiveness through his blood.

Three Marvelous Mountains  —We consider the marvelous events that took place on Mount Ararat, Mount Sinai, and Mount Zion. We especially consider three things in each event: salvation, a sacrifice, and a promise.

The L in GLORY Jesus the Lamb  —The PERFECTION of Jesus as the LAMB of God whose precious blood can take away all sins of all people.

Sufficient Sacrifice  —God cannot accept just any sacrifice. An insufficient sacrifice could not justify those who suffer from insufficient righteousness.

The Torn Curtain  —One of the signs which accompanied Christ’s sacrificial death, took place in the inner sanctum of the house of animal sacrifice: “Behold the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom” (Matthew 27:51)

The Last Sin Offering  —Jesus offered his body and his blood, as the final sin offering for all people for all eternity. From that time animal sacrifice should have ceased.

The Order of Melchizedek  —Melchizedek was not only a king; he was also a priest of the Most High God. Melchizedek symbolized Christ and his new priesthood and law.

Joshua Zechariah Zerubbabel  —The prophet Zechariah, the highpriest Joshua, and the governer Zerubbabel, were involved in a symbolic ceremony, the meaning of which flatly contradicts premillennialism.

Jesus is Lord Acts 2:36  —Jesus is not just one of many good teachers, or just one of many great Lights. He is the one Lord and the only sacrifice that can take away sins. No one else will do.

Jesus the Perfect Sacrifice  —The body and blood of Jesus, because he was without sin, made an offering that satisfied God once and for all.

Adventures of Abraham  —We look at the sojourns and adventures of Abraham himself, along with his wife Sarah, his nephew Lot, and Lot’s wife (Genesis 12-22).

Troubled by Thorns  —Among the mentions of thorns in the Bible, four references stand out. One passage is about a thorn in the flesh, inflicted by Satan. A second is about the thorns of the world that distract us from Jesus. A third is about the crown of thorns worn by Jesus. The fourth is about the thorns that grew in the desolation of Jerusalem.

Have You Counted the Cost?  —The most important things cannot be evaluated on a calculator. But you can count the cost in your heart.

Symbols of Christ’s Death (Outline)  —In the Bible we find many symbols of Christ’s death —symbols in the Old Testament looking forward to Christ’s death, and symbols in the New Testament looking back to it.

A Pleasing Sacrifice  —Christians are to offer pleasing sacrifices to God but not for sin. These include the sacrifice of praise (Hebrews 13:15-16).

Notes on the Passover  —This page provides concise notes on the Passover memorial observed by the children of Israel. The notes include definition, explanation, origin, history, and timeline.

Christ, Perfect Example of All Suffering  —In the death of Jesus on the cross, his flesh and blood became a sacrifice for our sins. What is more, no other sacrifice could redeem and reconcile humankind, nor was any more sacrifice than this called for. (Study in Colossians). Includes “Our Journey With Christ.”

Jisas i bin Mekem Wan Sakrefaes  —Taem we yumi kam stanap long fored blong fes blong God, yumi no gat paoa nating blong mekem se yumi klin long ae blong God.    Grace and Wrath  —Romans 5:8-9. Sinners are saved by God’s love, saved from God’s wrath, but what makes this salvation possible? A sacrifice of blood: the blood of Christ who died for sinners.
