Forgiveness SERIES  —Here's a list of individual lessons, written at different times over the years. This collection provides a deeper understanding of the basic theme and purpose of the gospel, namely the forgiveness of sins.

Repentance From Sin  —The third step to salvation is changing one's heart and turning from sin.

Baptism Into Christ  —The fifth step to salvation is being buried with Christ by baptism into his death.

The Set and Stubborn Heart  —Why let your stubborn will stop you turning to your Heavenly Father for forgiveness of your sins? Invite him into your heart and do as he says.

The Saved and Surrendered Heart  —So far we have spoken of things done in the heart: believing and repenting. One would expect these deeds of the heart to be expressed by appropriate deeds in the body. And that's exactly what we do find.

The Sealed and Sanctified Heart  —This final lesson in the Jesus Changed My Heart series, shows that God has confirmed his promise to all his heirs by an oath and by a seal. So there are three distinct actions of God that can empower you.

Forgiveness and Condemnation  —Let's think about forgiveness and condemnation, two opposites in the Bible. And let's answer this question: Are You Pardoned or Condemned?.

The Blind Eye of Love  —Evaluating the idea that true love sees only the good in people. One of the most dangerous ideas in the world?

Whole World in Wickedness: What 1st John Says About Sin~1  —“Everyone who practises righteousness is born of him... No one who is born of God practises sin... The one who practises sin is of the devil” (1John 2:29; 3:6-10).

Nurturing Guilt  —Many false religions are guilt-driven. The priests or clergy cultivate guilt in their adherents who become dependent upon, and obligated to, the priests.

Jesus the Perfect Sacrifice  —The body and blood of Jesus, because he was without sin, made an offering that satisfied God once and for all.

Parable of The Unforgiving Slave  —illustrates the principle that Jesus also underlined when he taught his disciples to pray.

A Disciple’s Forgiveness  —Jesus said, 'If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents forgive him' (Luke 17:3). This requires that sin be dealt with and not overlooked.

Unlimited Forgiveness  —A Bible study about whether God would ever refuse to forgive one who repents and comes to him through Christ. Discusses “seventy times seven”.

Unreserved Forgiveness  —What reservations should we have about forgiving wrongs? Let’s examine some common reservations.

The Unforgivable Sin  —The Bible speaks of a sin never forgiven, but not of an unforgivable sin.

If God Refused  —Discusses why God cannot refuse anyone who repents and seeks forgiveness.

What Forgiveness Takes Away  —This lesson helps you to properly understand forgiveness from God.

Forgiveness and the Lord’s supper  —Discusses whether the purpose of the Lord’s Supper is to receive forgiveness of sins like baptism.

Saying Sorry  —13th February 2008 was an historic day when the Australian Parliament said sorry to the nation’s aboriginal people.

Baptism and the Greek Word “eis”  —An uncomplicated study of the argument about the Greek word εις —does it mean “in order to receive forgiveness” or “because you have received forgiveness” in Acts 2:38?

When Are Sins Washed Away? (Acts 22:16)  —This lesson faces the question, When are sins washed away? In the process of conversion, at what point is one forgiven? We analyse what Ananias said in Acts 22:16.

Forgiveness in Old Testament Times  —A study of forgiveness in Old Testament times up till Jesus died. On what basis were people then forgiven?

Adam's Predicament  —In this lesson we consider the nature of Adam’s sin, condemnation, and forgiveness. At first sight Adam’s fall from grace seems straightforward to understand. Yet people have very different views of it. I hope this lesson will clarify the nature and consequences of Adam’s error and his hope of forgiveness.

Jesus Took Our Place  —Why did Jesus die on the cross erected at Calvary? Here's why: Christ, whose life was perfect, took your place, since your life was not perfect. Jesus died one time only to take away your sins in order to bring you to God (1Peter 3:18)

The Apostles' Power to Forgive  —In John 20:19-23 Jesus says to his apostles, 'If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained'. In what way was Jesus making the apostles responsible for the forgiveness of people's sins?

Christ, Forgiver of All Trespasses  —Colossians - Final lesson in the “Christ is All” series. Two verses form the basis for this study: “In God’s beloved Son we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:14), “He made you alive together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses” (Colossians 2:13).

Trifala Kaen Man Nogud i Stap  —Baebol i no letem fasin nogud i stap. Baebol i strong long stretem man nogud. Man we i tijim long Baebol, i no mas stap tok sofsof tumas agensem man nogud. Be ol man we oli mekem sin, oli no sem mak olgeta. Yumi mas skelem olgeta man ya, blong dil long defren fasin wetem wan wan long olgeta.
