I Can! (Philippians) SERIES  —Paul’s letter to the Philippians is full of encouragement. The theme is, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Series includes two quiz pages.

The Gospel is the Power  —Three kinds of power in the gospel... the power to enlighten, to save, and to establish.

The Personal View of Faith  —The baby faith one has in Jesus Christ when first obeying the gospel, develops into a full grown faith.

Our Cups of Joy and Sorrow  —Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, Rejoice! Often quoted, much misunderstood.

Spiritual Wellbeing  —The various elements of spiritual wellbeing and joy in Jesus are shown in an outline summary of the letter.

Saved in Three Tenses (3 Times of Salvation)  —There are, so to speak, three tenses of salvation: we have been saved, we are being saved, and we shall be saved.

Growing Up (Ephesians 4:11-32)  —A verse by verse study about the need for growth and maturity of all Christians, forever putting away their former conduct.

The One Another Ministry  —The term “one another” crops up a lot in the New Testament.

Pressing On to Perfection  —On four occasions in the course of his letter, the writer to the Hebrews interrupts his teaching about Christ to exhort his hearers about their lack of diligence and their potential to backslide.

Jesus the Author and Perfector  —Jesus is an author who finishes his work. His work is our faith enduring through many trials until finally glory comes and we live happily ever after. Every day Jesus is helping this story to be finished, and we should consider how he is doing this.

Disciplined by God  —Study in Hebrews. Jesus is an author who finishes his work. His work is our faith. He helps us endure the discipline of many trials until finally glory comes.

How the Hebrew Christians Forgot  —A lesson from the warnings in the letter to the Hebrews. We notice five things which the Hebrew Christians forgot.

Sowing and Growing (Parables)  —about the parables of the Vine and the Branches, the Barren Figtree, the Sower and the Seed.

Root and Fruit  —(Isaiah)  In this age of short cuts and quick fixes, we sometimes forget the principle that roots have to be established downwards before fruit can be borne upward.

Christian Growth  —Peter speaks of the power of God, what it can do for us, and what it helps us to do for God.

Growing in Faith (2Thessalonians 1:3)  —Paul is greatly encouraged by the church of the Thessalonians. He says, ¶ 'We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, just as it is appropriate to do, because your faith grows exceedingly...' (2Thessalonians 1:3). These opening words of Paul describe a kind of faith that is widely forgotten today.

Ephesians 4  —Ephesians chapter 4 rendered in simple clear sentences. Readings entitled “He Led Captivity Captive” and “Growing up in Christ”.

Strong Spiritual Growth  —There is a link between joy and spiritual growth. Paul says, “I shall remain with you and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith” (Philippians 1:25).

Sid we man i planem  —Sapos yu planem sid blong pastek long garen blong yu. Sid ya i no save mekem pamken, i save mekem pastek nomo. Baebol i talem se, “Wanem sid we man i planem fastaem long garen blong hem, be frut blong hem nomo, man ya bambae i mas kakae” (Galesia 6:7)
