List of Rebukes in the Bible  —A list of rebukes found in the Bible. This list may surprise you.

Book of Revelation SERIES  —This index covers the outlines, overviews, introductory and core lessons on the Book of Revelation. The list includes lessons on the messages to the seven churches and the visions of Christ.

The Two Reapers (Revelation 14:14-20)  —An Exposition of Revelation 14:14-20. John sees a vision of two reapers. One is like the Son of Man. He reaps from the earth what is his. Another angel then comes to reap the clusters of grapes that remain. He casts them into the winepress of the wrath of God.

The Throne and the Books  —Some preach only love, grace, hope, comfort, peace, and suchlike. They preach only what is positive to make people feel good. But we must also reprove and rebuke. We must do so in patience and truth, yet we must do so nevertheless (2Timothy 4:2).

God a Righteous Judge  —Bible lesson about God as Judge. Points out some contradictory statements in the Westminster Confession.

The Sheep and Goats Matthew 25:31-46  —In this lesson we look at the parable and prophecy of the sheep and goats. The narrative clearly implies that the way people choose to think and act in this world determines where they will spend eternity.

If We Sin Wilfully  —We are going to examine seven portions of scripture that show we Christians, although certainly secure, nurtured, and protected, will not remain so unless we respond to God’s grace and diligently fulfill his conditions according to his purpose for us. Otherwise we will be branches cut off.

The Severity of God  —The goodness and mercy of God go together with the severity and wrath of God. Living in the fear of God helps to assure our salvation.

Incidentals in Their Place  —Often, when one does something for a good purpose, one’s actions have some side effect incidental to one’s purpose. In this lesson we look at three kinds of incidentals and how we should regard them.

Jesus the Righteous Judge 1 (2Timothy 4:1-8)  —A verse by verse study in Paul’s second letter to Timothy. In this lesson we examine chapter 4 verses 1-8. The first eight verses are about Jesus the Righteous Judge. The rest of the chapter closes the letter with various requests, comments, and greetings.

Jesus the Righteous Judge 2 (2Timothy 4:9-22)  —A verse by verse study in Paul’s second letter to Timothy. In this lesson we examine chapter 4 verses 9-22. Paul closes the letter with various requests, comments, and greetings, and an important lesson about the judgment.

Dividing the World in Two  —about the parables of the Two Gates and Two Roads, and the Sheep and the Goats.

Adventures of Gideon  —In spite of all God has done for us, we slip so easily away from God and forget him. At such times God will have a Gideon at hand to strengthen us again (Judges 1-10).

Adventures of Deborah  —The story of Deborah in the time of the Judges of Israel. Deborah is shown to be a diplomat, a daredevil, and a deliverer.

Ezekiel Outline Chapters 29-30-31-32  —Chapters 29, 30, 31, and 32 of Ezekiel are outlined and analysed. These chapters are about Egypt, and consist of a series of oracles and laments given to Ezekiel for Egypt and its Pharaoh.

A Disciple’s Judgment  —Some people will say, 'You have no right to judge'. Usually they have in mind the scripture that says, 'Do not judge, in order that you will not be judged' (Matthew 7:1-2). This can be misunderstood.

Doomsday (The Last Days)  —What the Bible says about the days before Christ’s second advent, compared to the Doomsday view.

Five Faulty Facts About the Judgment  —We examine five arguments used to deny that there will be a judgment day or that Christians will undergo judgment.

Judgments of Jesus  —Lesson from John’s gospel about different judgments people made about Jesus.

Troubled by Thorns  —Among the mentions of thorns in the Bible, four references stand out. One passage is about a thorn in the flesh, inflicted by Satan. A second is about the thorns of the world that distract us from Jesus. A third is about the crown of thorns worn by Jesus. The fourth is about the thorns that grew in the desolation of Jerusalem.

Right and Wrong Judgment  —A simplified version of an old sermon outline.

Christ, Judge of all Conduct  —Our first lesson in Colossians and the “Christ is All” series begins with the full pleasure of God. As Christians, we are expected to “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to fully please him” (Colossians 1:10). What’s the secret of success in doing this?

Images of Doom (Jude 1:12-13) —Another study in Jude’s short epistle, looking at verses 12 and 13 in which Jude condemns the false men who are diverting God’s people from the apostolic faith one for all delivered (Jude 1:12-13).
