❖  JUSTIFY —δικαιοω (dikaio-oo 1344 ) is Greek for justify, which means “make right” or “make righteous”.

Justification Defined  —On simplybible.com certain technical or special words in the Bible are studied and explained in our glossary. Each lesson provides a word family, definitions, Greek and Hebrew references, a scripture chain, comments, and links to related lessons.

Faith and Works  —Paul teaches salvation by obedience of faith, not faith alone. Otherwise he’d contradict Moses, David, James, and even himself.

The L in GLORY Jesus the Lamb  —The PERFECTION of Jesus as the LAMB of God whose precious blood can take away all sins of all people.

Justification (Wonderful Words)  —About our insufficiency of righteousness, sacrifice, suffering, and commitment. Our need of Christ to be made righteous —example Cornelius.

Sufficient Righteousness  —It comes as a shock to some people to find out that if God based our admittance to heaven on our own goodness, none of us would get in the gate.

Sufficient Sacrifice  —God cannot accept just any sacrifice. An insufficient sacrifice could not justify those who suffer from insufficient righteousness.

Sufficient Suffering  —Many folk have the idea that you can somehow expunge sin with suffering. By yielding yourself to pain or deprivation, you purchase for yourself some grace with which to pay off your debt of sin. Is this possible?

God a Righteous Judge  —Bible lesson about God as Judge. Points out some contradictory statements in the Westminster Confession.

Justification by Works  —James teaches us how works are associated with justification by faith.

What Jesus Accomplished on the Cross  —Explains justification, sanctification, and redemption.

Jesus the Author and Perfector  —Jesus is an author who finishes his work. His work is our faith enduring through many trials until finally glory comes and we live happily ever after. Every day Jesus is helping this story to be finished, and we should consider how he is doing this.

Jesus Our Saviour  —What do we mean when we call Jesus our Saviour? What does he do?
