❖ IMPOTENT —means powerless, weak, ineffectual. In contrast, power from God and the gospel (Romans 1:16) can achieve all godly aims and desires. Against all odds we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Other powers fall short and disappoint.
➤ The Gospel is the Power —Three kinds of power in the gospel... the power to enlighten, to save, and to establish.
