❖  IMPOTENT —means powerless, weak, ineffectual. In contrast, power from God and the gospel (Romans 1:16) can achieve all godly aims and desires. Against all odds we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Other powers fall short and disappoint.

The Gospel is the Power  —Three kinds of power in the gospel... the power to enlighten, to save, and to establish.

We Who Are Strong  —encourages us to grow out of weakness into strength. We look at the nine instances of asthenees (in various forms) in Romans, grouped under three headings.

Seven Powers of Christ  —We learn more about Christ in Revelation chapters 1-3. At least seven aspects of Christ’s power and authority may be noticed in these chapters, both in the first vision of Christ, and in the letters Christ has John write to the seven churches.

Toward Our Goal  —Ten principles for achieving any worthwhile goal, especially a Christian goal.

Seven Powers  —Bible lesson on powers to which all human beings may gain access in the new age of Jesus Christ.

Christ In You the Hope of Glory (2)  —The power God has put in us. The second of three glorious privileges we have in Christ.

If I Be Lifted Up  —Jesus said, “If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men to myself”. His crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, are the three ways he did this.

Mary's Magnificat - Psalm of Praise  —Mary the mother of Jesus visited her sister, Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist. Mary uttered a beautiful Psalm known as the Magnificat. Its themes are praise, humility, joy, fear, faith, mercy, strength, promise, and blessing.

Faithful and Strong 1 (2Timothy 2:1-13)  —A study outline of Second Timothy chapter 2 verses 1-13. We look at the strength of faith and truth in Timothy and Paul.

Faithful and Strong 2 (2Timothy 2:14-26)  —A study outline of Second Timothy chapter 2 verses 14-26. We look at the strength of faith and truth in Timothy, Paul, and their fellow gospel workers.

Small Things  —A Bible study starter using the concept of small things that God made big.

Adventures of Elisha  —After Elijah left this world, his disciple Elisha took up Elijah’s mantle and ministry.

Adventures of John the Baptist —The bridge between the old and new is John the Baptist. He is usually called the last of the Old Testament prophets. But he was also the first prophet among the Jews for 400 years!

The Hand of God  —The Bible sometimes talks about 'the hand of God' and what God's hand can do. In this lesson we will consider three things that the hand of God can do.

Abstinence and Will Power  —It is a dangerous notion that asceticism, and the exercise of the will over the body, is the essence of holiness.

Han blong God  —Baebol i samtaem tokbaot 'han blong God' mo wanem han blong God ya i save mekem. Long lesen ya, bambae yumi tingbaot trifala samting we han blong God i save makem.

Grace and Power  —A perspective on grace and power: the Messiah is mighty in government and law, majestic in glory and light, merciful in grace and love.

Miracles that Jesus Did  —A list of Bible passages about miracles that Jesus did. Just a neat simple list for reference to help your studies.

Miracles SERIES  —A collection of studies dealing with miracles, miraculous signs and powers, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Changes Things  —You’ll understand prayer much better, if you consider four questions that arise from the well known saying, Prayer changes things.

Miracles of Jesus  —Jesus of Nazareth wrought many miracles, each one showing him to be the true Son of God from Heaven.

Miracles at Calvary  —Three miracles attended the death of Jesus Christ. We think about these miracles and relate them to prophecies.

Real Miracles  —When we consider the miracles of the Bible, we realize that the “miracle” workers of today fall far short of the Biblical standard.

The Holy Spirit and Miracles  —sets out three works of the Holy Spirit, namely the baptism, miraculous gifts, and indwelling of the Spirit.

Various Miraculous Gifts  —This outline deals with the distribution of various miraculous spiritual gifts, another work of the Holy Spirit.

Signs Following (Tract)  —about the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit, who received them and why.

Have Miraculous Gifts Ceased?  —Paul says that spiritual gifts would cease (1 Corinthians 13:8). The question is, when was that cessation to be? Some say at the second coming, others say when the apostles were all dead and the scriptures were complete. Who is right?

The Part and the Perfect  —Special spiritual gifts were given to the early church until the complete revelation from Christ was written down in the inspired writings of the New Testament. In this lesson, we take careful note of how Paul speaks of spiritual gifts as being “in part” and looks forward to the revelation being “complete” or “perfect”.

Food for Thought  —Three miraculous events involving food, and what they show.

I'm a Skeptic  —Why I’m a skeptic about the claims people make to possessing miraculous gifts of healing, prophecy, tongues, and so forth.

Is Medicine Magic?  —Is medicine, including the use of modern drugs, linked to sorcery or magic arts? Is the physician an agent of the Devil?

Don't You Remember?  —Jesus asked his disciples if they remembered how many baskets full of scraps were left after he had fed the 5000 with five loaves, and the 4000 with seven loaves. They remembered the facts about the scraps, but they neither perceived nor understood the deep meaning and implications of the signs.

The Exodus  —First part of the wilderness wanderings: from the crossing of the Red Sea to the arrival at Sinai (Exodus 14-19).

Acts 3:1-11  —A verse by verse study of Acts 3:1-11. These verses describe the healing of the man born lame, a miracle Peter and John did at the temple gate.

Acts 3  —Acts chapter 3 rendered in simple clear sentences. Readings entitled “A Lame Beggar Healed”, and ”Peter’s Message at Solomon’s Porch”.
