❖  CONVERSION —Conversion is the change or turning of one thing (or person) into another. In the bible, this turning is toward a new and better purpose. Being converted is related to repentance (Acts 3:19).

Regeneration Defined  —On simplybible.com certain technical or special words in the Bible are studied and explained in our glossary. Each lesson provides a word family, definitions, Greek and Hebrew references, a scripture chain, comments, and links to related lessons.

Repentance Defined  —On simplybible.com certain technical or special words in the Bible are studied and explained in our glossary. Each lesson provides a word family, definitions, Greek and Hebrew references, a scripture chain, comments, and links to related lessons.

Jesus Changed My Heart SERIES  —These lessons are about how wonderfully, radically, and positively Jesus changes our hearts and lives. There are also two trusty (not rusty) old sermons as a bonus.

Seven Good Influences SERIES  —These lessons examine the good influences that motivate us to obey God, and shows how we can either cause them to fail, or nurture and strengthen them.

Challenge and Change SERIES  —A collection of miscellaneous lessons on a variety of topics. These lessons do have something in common however. They challenge you to make some important improvement or change in the way you walk with God and worship him.

The Chain of Great Events  —A chain of events is experienced by everyone who obeys God’s plan of salvation. Paul presents this chain in three different ways.

Repentance From Sin  —The third step to salvation is changing one's heart and turning from sin.

The Second Time  —A tract by Ron Graham published in the late 1950s by a group of young Christians

The Zacchaeus Principle  —A lesson from Luke 19:1-10, observing the manner in which Zacchaeus repented.

Prayer Changes Things  —You’ll understand prayer much better, if you consider four questions that arise from the well known saying, Prayer changes things.

Seven Great Changes  —One word that characterises the Last Days, is CHANGE. Seven great foundation changes took place centuries ago when Christ died.

What Shall I Do, Lord?  —Paul was travelling to Damascus to persecute Christians. Jesus confronted him. Paul yielded and asked, 'What shall I do Lord?' Paul switched to a personal commitment, an obedient response, and a loyal subjection.

Old and New Priesthood  —Sets out four elements of concern to the Hebrew writer: the law, the priesthood, the throne, and the oath.

Acts 9:1-19  —A verse by verse study of Acts 9:1-19. This passage is about the conversion of Saul with the assistance of Ananias.

Don't Add or Take Away  —There are clear and solemn warnings at the beginning, middle, and end of the Bible against adding to the word of God or taking away from it.

Don't Go Beyond God's Word  —We are urged in scripture not to go beyond (but to abide in) what is written. We do this so that our faith may be true.

As the Earth Turns  —The earth turns day by day, and we upon it. As the earth turns, you are not aware of its motion, and I suppose you do not need to be. There are three things you should be aware of, however, that are true as the earth turns.

Be a Do Moster  —An encouragement to give the most that you can to God rather than the least required.

The Habits You Nurture  —Principles involved in forming the habits necessary for living in love and simplicity.

Choice, Change, Challenge (Jude 1:4-7)  —Down through the ages there have been great departures from God and the true faith. These departures were by choice; they changed the grace of God into lewdness; they challenged the faithful to contend for the true faith. Jude mentions three historic examples (Jude 1:4-7).

Grace and Repentance  —Repentance means a change of mind. But in what sense and with what results? Some say that a mind change is all God’s grace requires for repentance. We are not required to change our lives. We don't need to turn from sin. That's wrong. Several things go along with true repentance, and it cannot do without them. God’s grace, in granting repentance, requires these things.
